Practice your interview before it counts.

Hear a real question, answer out loud, and see what works — and what you can say more precisely next time.

As a manager, I conducted job interviews and decided who got the position. Too often, people who were capable failed because they had never told their story out loud before — dossari is what I would have liked to give them beforehand.

how it works

It's that simple.

All three ways lead to the same work history entries in your finished documents. Choose whichever feels easiest.

  1. 01

    Form

The classic fields: company, position, period, hours. If you prefer to type it yourself.

  2. 02

    Tell

Speak freely in your language about a job experience. We'll create the English entry.

  3. 03

    Write

A free text field in your language. Order and spelling don't matter.

your language

Your dossier in German.Created in your language.

You choose your language — the interface, explanations and questions appear in it. Your application is created in German following Swiss convention, or in French or Italian if you prefer. And if writing isn't your way: you can simply tell your story.

Dossier language

Your dossier will be created in this language — regardless of which language you use to navigate the site.

More details

how a Swiss dossier is read

  • 01

    A photo is included

In many countries, application photos are frowned upon or forbidden. In Switzerland, a professional portrait in the top right of your resume is standard and expected.

  • 02

    Work references are included

A work reference is a written assessment that every employer must issue when you leave — covering your duties, performance, and conduct. Without these references, a dossier looks incomplete.

  • 03

    Diplomas are attached

Diplomas, certificates, and course confirmations are attached as copies, not just mentioned in your resume. For foreign qualifications, use the original name and a brief explanation.

  • 04

    Understatement is more powerful

Big words about yourself don't work well. Use evidence instead of superlatives: numbers, duration, responsibility. Precision builds credibility.

  • 05

    Formal address

Use formal address in your cover letter and include the contact person's name if it appears in the job posting: "Dear Ms. Meier". Only use "Dear Sir or Madam" if no name is given.

  • 06

    Everything in one file

A PDF is expected in a fixed order: cover page, cover letter, CV, employment references, diplomas. Twelve attachments are rarely opened.

interface language · selection

Read it in your language. Your application stays in the official language.

Two separate settings: the interface language and your application language. You can change both anytime.

before · after

Same document. Two ways.

On the left: the photo from your desk — crooked, dark, distorted. On the right: the same page as it appears in your dossier — straightened, brightened, trimmed to A4. Drag the line.

Any chatbot can write today. The tedious part is the logistics: crooked phone photos of certificates, a diploma as a scan, your CV in Word, five formats that no one accepts.

Your dossier gets you to the interview.
That's where the work begins.

10, 20 or 30 minutes, spoken, with a voice that follows up when an answer dodges the question. Afterwards an evaluation: what was backed up, what stayed vague, and how to say it next time — no grade.

Questions from the job posting and your resume — with follow-ups when answers are evasive.

Your strongest moment
«If the oven fails at four in the morning, I bake the bread for the shops first and call the service afterwards.»

A concrete situation, a clear order — that makes reliability tangible.

There is more in it

When asked about further training, your answer stayed general.

→ Name the course, the year and what you have done differently since.

Example with invented content: Peter Muster applies as a baker and pastry cook. This is the moment right after the interview.
